The potential benefits of using technology in learning environments according to research and case studies such as the Science Park High School in Newark, New Jersey, among other schools, are better student engagement in curriculum activities, enhanced desire for exploring new teaching as well as learning methods, and innovative opportunities arise when design and technology merge to create a teaching environment. Technology can be beneficial to society as well, but it has to start in the classroom. 21st century skills are necessary for society to become more innovative and prepared for future economical, political, and social challenges that new generations will face someday.Observation, research, surveys, and interviews prove students relate more with their studies when technology is utilized due to the fact that the lives of these students are surrounded by so much of it, consequently the student gains a much more effective experience because he or she will be more interested in what is going on during the lesson. When teachers have the opportunity to use technology as a part of their teaching method, they have the chance to explore innovative methods of teaching that break through during situations that the student wouldnt have been interested in before. Furthermore, when technology is applied to the architecture of a learning environment, the building then becomes a teaching environment, meaning, the student can learn from the building itself. Every corner can be an opportunity for the student to learn something from. Technology applications in educational environments allow for a more effective and productive experience for everyone.

The logo represented connectivity as a molecule. The colors were the ones to be used in all of the school's spaces; fun, youthful, and alive. A sleeker, younger image was trying to be portrayed.
