Dell Corporation dedicates the company to developing innovative and reliable products for their costumers. Their image consists of sleek, futuristic, and sophisticated products which should also reflect the spaces in which these products are created in. The inspiration for the concept of Dell Corporate Headquarters comes from the products and the logo of Dell Computers and Alienware, Dell's gaming computer systems. The logo has changed throughout the years, but its never looked as sophisticated as it does today. The round and chrome element of the logo were incorporated Into the design of the office building using reflective materials, and shapes that compliment the image. Corporate identity was very important in this project. Black, gray, and white are colors that are seen throughout the companys image which were also incorporated as well as adding hints of blue, the companys previous logo color. Dell Computers were one of the first to incorporate lighting into their laptop keyboards. LED back-lit keyboards were also an inspiration in this project. Feature walls incorporate back-lit stripes that stand out on black surfaces.
